Novel Food approval – a milestone for a family company

We are proud to announce that Vita-D-Sol® has officially received Novel Food approval with 5-year exclusive right from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)!
This milestone is the result of nearly four years of dedicated work, research, and patience by our small, family-run business. Securing EU-wide approval for a vitamin D-rich food ingredient is not just a bureaucratic hurdle – it is an extraordinary testament to quality, safety, and innovation.
